Treating Bamboo in
Your Backyard
Bamboo is susceptible to insects like termites, borers, the powderpost beetle, and even fungi. If not treated properly, bamboo products and structures will only last a few years before they are eaten to dust. But don’t get discouraged, there are many ways in which bamboo can be treated. In this article, we are going to talk about a special low-tech treatment option, the Vertical Soak Diffusion, or VSD.
