Our Story
The Kul Kul Farm in Bali is an educational, experience, and sustainability-focused farm that aims to inspire and teach people about permaculture, regenerative agriculture, and bamboo.
The farm hosts community events, farm-to-table dinners, and open days to engage the local and international community through various educational and hands-on engagement about bamboo.
The farm features diverse gardens showcasing permaculture techniques, food forests, vegetable plots, and herbal gardens.
Besides that, the farm is home to Bamboo U, which incorporates natural building techniques using locally sourced and sustainable materials for its structures.

Join a day experience with Bamboo U! Come and visit the Bamboo U campus at The Kul Kul Farm and get a crash course in the fundamentals of bamboo building and construction.
Start the course with a visit to Bamboo Pure Factory, the pioneer of bamboo design and construction, to learn how to process and treat bamboo. The visit continues to ChopValue Indonesia micro-factory, to see how they engineer recycled chopsticks into a high-performance composite to manufacture carbon-negative furniture solutions for business or home
From the factory, we will head out to Bamboo U Campus, to learn the application of different bamboo structural systems on buildings that were built by our students.
Finally, this mini-workshop ends with a hands-on building bamboo structural systems activity and a delicious farm-grown lunch.
This is a great experience for anyone curious about why bamboo is an important material and how we can unlock its gifts to create impressive world designs.
